Strategic Research Agenda (2025–2030)
The SBUP Research & Development Cell aims to have a dynamic and implementable five-year plan to develop institutional capacity for research, promote interdisciplinarity, and position SBUP as a thought leader in applied sciences and management. The agenda is focused on three strategic pillars:
- Establishing Thematic and Collaborative Research: Establish 5+ international and national institution collaborations, establish research clusters in high-priority themes, establish 5+ industry-academic collaborations, and conduct regular research events
- Increasing Research Output and Visibility: Increase publications in high-impact journals (Scopus Q1/Q2, ABDC A/B) by 30%, increase faculty membership on editorial boards and international platforms, and increase research dissemination.
- Research Leadership and Capacity Building: Establish faculty leadership programs, establish research chairs in hope-related disciplines, and incorporate project and leadership training into doctoral programs.
