Dr. Ajita specialises in financial economics, especially in Financial markets and Derivative pricing structures. Her educational background of Mathematics honours and Economics majors gives her sound knowledge of  finance, economics and mathematics as well. With a strong background in research across various domains, such as development economics, international economics, and macroeconomics, Ajita has a broad understanding of economic systems and financial markets. Currently, she is exploring the evolving field of fintech, focusing on model building and a sustainable development approach. Possessing strong mathematical, statistical, coding and econometrics skills, Ajita combines academic expertise with hands-on experience in both research and teaching.  She has also been working on a few government research consultancy and ICSSR projects. Driven by a passion for research and innovation, Ajita aims to be a key asset to the teams she will collaborate with.
