Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI), New Delhi, on 12th December 2022. The agreement, endorsed by Dr. S.B. Agase (Registrar, SBUP) and Shri Binod Anand (Secretary-General, CNRI), aims to promote collaboration in education, research, training, and rural development. The MoU outlines initiatives such as joint research, knowledge-sharing programs, entrepreneurship development, internships, and certification courses to support youth, NGOs, and community-based institutions in achieving sustainable growth.

The signing ceremony featured addresses from eminent dignitaries including Prof. B. Paramanandhan (Pro-Chancellor, SBUP), Dr. G.K. Shirude (Vice-Chancellor, SBUP), Dr. Mohan Kanda IAS (Retd), Dr. K.K. Tripathi (Ministry of Cooperation), and Shri Ravindra Dhaira (President, VANARAI). Discussions focused on rural development, sustainable entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, and the role of management in socio-economic transformation. The event concluded with an interactive session and a vote of thanks by Dr. Manisha Paliwal.
