On 12th October 2023, Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) in the presence of Prof. B. Paramanandhan (Chancellor, SBUP), Shri Dileep Sanghani (President, NCUI & Chairman, IFFCO), and other esteemed dignitaries. The MoU aims to foster collaboration in education, training, research, internships, and cooperative development. It seeks to bridge the rural-urban divide, promote sustainable growth, and align with the national vision of “Sahakar Se Samruddhi.” This partnership will integrate academic insight with cooperative enterprise, bringing mutual benefits to students, researchers, and the cooperative ecosystem.

The event featured addresses from senior representatives of SBUP and NCUI, including Dr. Manisha Paliwal, Shri Ritesh Dey, Dr. Sagar Wadkar, Shri Binod Anand, and Shri Dileep Sanghani, who highlighted the potential of cooperatives in creating inclusive economic growth. Students interacted with the speakers on topics such as GDP contribution from farmers and the role of IFFCO and NCUI. The program concluded with tokens of gratitude presented to key guests and a vote of thanks by Dr. Vikas Namjoshi, reaffirming SBUP’s commitment to impactful, socially conscious education.
